‘Terminator Zero’ Trailer: First Look At Netflix Animated Franchise Reboot

Not really. It will never…never…stop.” So begins the first trailer for Terminator Zero, Netflix‘s upcoming animated franchise reboot, with a voiceover narrated by resistance fighter Eiko (Sonoya Mizuno).
Hailing from Japanese animation studio Production IG (Ghost in the Shell), The eight-episode series will be part of the Terminator universe but will center around new characters.
It will be the first-ever iteration of the franchise to be animated. Premiering August 29 on Netflix, Terminator Zero takes place across two timelines, “2022: A future war has raged for decades between the few human survivors and an endless army of machines.
