John Curran, 29, went missing from his parent’s home and was found dead by emergency services three days later. During an inquest into his death, it was revealed John was told he was not posing an immediate risk of self-harm after an assessment on March 24.
According to evidence given by John’s father Des, mum Anne, and sister Kate, this was only five days after John was discharged from an Italian hospital following a suicide attempt.Curran, who lived in Spain teaching English for the last few years moved home in November 2020 after leaving his job following struggles with mental health due.
