Another former Strictly Come Dancing contestant has spoken out about their experience on the BBC One show. Will Bayley has said he suffered a serious injury while performing a jump on Strictly in 2019 and has claimed there was “no duty of care”.The Paralympian, 36, has said producers were told the jump from a table during a routine was too dangerous but he was encouraged to do it anyway.

He also alleged that after he was injured show bosses made him feel like it was his fault. Will tore his knee ligaments, resulting in him having to pull out of the series.

He was partnered with Janette Manrara on the BBC show. Will went on to tell The Sun: “Now feels like the right time to speak up.

I hope what I went through never happens to anyone else. I think the show thought they were being inclusive by casting me, but I actually felt pressured.
