Stockport is set to light up with with colour, celebration and advocacy as the town’s answer to Manchester Pride hits the streets this weekend.
Stockport Pride 2023 will take place in the town centre from 12-6pm on Sunday, celebrating the local LGBTQ+ community in a “dazzling display of love and acceptance”.
The event is free to attend and no tickets are necessary. As well as the main parade, the event will feature a full schedule of on-stage performers.
The organisers have this year gone all-out this year, with a range of festivities for all creeds and ages that include a silent disco, drag story time and a mobile cocktail van.
