It came to me as a crisis,” he said. “I was confronted with the most terrifying possibility: I was only, like, halfway through my life.” He also discussed having little money and no idea how to make more at the time, having little going for him other than people yelling ‘Oh s–t, it’s Steve-O!” when they saw him. “The ultimate fear for me would be to be a recognizable personality and totally broke,” he said.
