Stephen Kingsley believes the Europa League play-off gives Hearts the chance to right a few wrongs and bring back the feel-good factor at Tynecastle.The Jambos head to Czech Republic for their European opener against Viktoria Plzen on Thursday.

Steven Naismith’s side are guaranteed group-stage football for the second time in three seasons but want it to be in the Europa League rather than the Conference.Kingsley knows that getting a result in the Doolan Arena would be the best response to the disappointing Premier Sports Cup exit to Falkirk at the weekend.

Kingsley said: “It is a great experience. It’s something that, if you look at the last time out in the Conference League, we didn’t really perform against the two big teams and we got a couple of great results against the team that we should be beating.
