Star Trek star Kenneth Mitchell dies aged 49 following battle with ALS

Movie star Kenneth Mitchell has tragically passed away at the age of 49. The actor, known for his roles of Klingons Kol, Kol-Sha, and Tenavik, as well as Aurellio, on Star Trek: Discovery, fought a five-year battle with MLS.

Mitchell also performed the voices of a number of characters on Star Trek: Lower Decks as well as being involved in Marvel's Captain Marvel, the Mirror reports.

He was diagnosed with ALS in 2018 and started using a wheelchair a year later and later confessed to feeling constant twitching in his muscles prior to the diagnosis.
