A neighbour has told how a 'stabbing victim' covered in blood died in the street after climbing out the window of a Johnstone flat.The woman told how she was in the flat next door on MacDowall Street, East Renfrewshire, when she heard a commotion involving multiple people erupt in the early hours of this morning.During the row, which got so intense it 'rattled' her flat, she says she heard screams of "you've stabbed him, you've stabbed me".The local resident then heard the blood-covered man climbing through the window after allegedly being locked in the property before passing away outside.Images from the scene showed a flat window on the ground floor of the building splattered with blood.Police, who were called to the scene around 1.50am, have since confirmed a 40-year-old man died following the incident, with a 59-year-old woman taken to hospital with serious injuries.Speaking to the Record, the woman, who does not want to be named, said: "I heard a man die outside my window last night, it has left us quite shaken."I was in the living room when I started hearing arguing and tustling.

It sounded like people were shoving each other but I couldn't make out what they were saying."It kept getting louder and louder until it got to the point the whole flat was rattling.

It woke my mum up and she decided to call the police."Then, all you could hear was "you've stabbed him, you've stabbed him, you've stabbed me"."Whoever done the deed bolted and locked them in the flat.

To try to get attention, those in the flat threw a mug out the window to smash it for help."Eventually, the boy who got stabbed was so desperate he crawled out the window and died on the street."You could hear the paramedics working on him and I heard them
