Scots woman's dog stolen by 'Good Samaritan' after she had heart attack on street

A Scots woman has been left heartbroken after a sick thief stole her dog while she had a heart attack in the street. Police are hunting for the callous dog napper after the shocking incident on Monday afternoon.

Kat Conway was walking her Shih Poo called Jessie when collapsed on the pavement. Paramedics were called and they rushed the 50-year-old to hospital.

But the crew could not allow her to take Jessie, six, in the back of an ambulance.Kat said she remembered a man with blond curly hair and about 5’7’’ tall when she had the heart attack.He initially came to offer her help but then took her apricot-coloured dog.Kat was walking along Euston Road near the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, central London at 2pm on Monday when she fell to the pavement.Distraught Kat today said: “I’m really worried about her.“She’s always with me and is my shadow.“This is breaking my heart and all I want is her back home so I can cuddle her.”Kat has had Jessie from a puppy when she got her a rescue dog.She has been discharged from hospital and was forced to return home to Paisley without her beloved pet.
