Spencer completed his 29th run today, Monday 26 August, and is just one day away from setting a world record. Ahead of his final day, Spencer's family - wife Vogue, 38, and their children Theodore, five, Gigi, three, and one-year-old Otto - have joined him to cheer him on.
He told RSVP Live: “Vogue and the kids arrived this morning. It’s so lovely to see them; I’ve missed them terribly so it’s great that they are here. “But camp is absolutely no place for them, so we found something that was a little bit more commercial.
It means we have to drive about an hour to and from the starting points for the marathon, which was not what we were doing before, but it meant that I got to see them for an extra day.” Opening up about completing the marathons, Spencer, who has been camping in the Jordanian desert, admitted: "There is something weird about approaching the finish line.
