South Lanarkshire community services boosted by the latest intake of qualified district nurses

Award-winning community services in South Lanarkshire have been bolstered by the latest intake of qualified district nurses (DNs).Over the last three years, South Lanarkshire University Health and Social Care Partnership has welcomed a total of 20 DNs into its local teams.The latest cohort have just completed NHS Lanarkshire’s DN Trainee program, and are already making a difference in people’s lives by contributing to community services such as South Lanarkshire’s award winning end-of-life-care programme.Professor Soumen Sengupta, chief officer of South Lanarkshire University Health and Social Care Partnership, warmly welcomed the DNs.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
