Emma Stone made it into Saturday Night Live‘s five-timers club and was welcomed by Tina Fey and Candice Bergen. The Poor Things star hosted the NBC sketch show for the fifth time and became one of a few group of celebrities to join the club and got her five-timers jacket as an honor. “It is so great to be back.
It’s my fifth time hosting SNL,” Stone said at the top of her monologue. “It has always been my favorite show and since I started hosting it’s also become just a huge part of my life.
I have made so many memories here and so many friends. And I even met my husband at SNL.” Stone joked that her husband was “pretty camera show” and “would love for the cameras to cut to him” with the cameras cutting to producer Lorne Michaels.
Fey made her way to the stage when Stone said she was “honored to be part of the five-timers club.” “At 35 years old, you are officially the youngest member,” Fey said about Stone joining the club. “I am the second youngest at 53.” Fey noted that Bergen was the one who came up with the idea of “adding a women’s section” to the five-timers club.
