Initially, no further information about her passing was shared publicly, and Knight’s family requested that “social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss”.Now, the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner has shared a statement, announcing the cause and manner of her death.According to the report shared yesterday (August 29), the department “determined the cause of death for 25-year-old Lucy-Bleu Knight as hydrogen sulphide toxicity”.
It continued: “The manner of death is suicide.”Hydrogen sulphide is a colourless, highly toxic gas that can be recognised by its pungent rotten egg odour at low concentrations.
