‘Shrinking’ creator Bill Lawrence reveals how Harrison Ford makes fun of Jason Segel on set: ‘He gets the joke’

While promoting his new show “Bad Monkey,” now streaming on Apple TV+, Lawrence reflected on Ford, 82, and his behavior on the set of “Shrinking.” “Harrison is a gamer,” Lawrence told The Post. “And what I mean by that is he gets the joke.
He is as funny and quick and sharp as anybody.”Co-created by Segel and “Ted Lasso” star Brett Goldstein, “Shrinking” follows Jimmy (Segel), a grieving therapist who decides to become more involved in his patients’ lives.
Ford co-stars as his colleague, Dr. Paul Rhoades. Season 1 got two Emmy nominations. Season 2 premieres Oct. 16 on Apple TV+. “Jason Segel wears a really comfortable jumpsuit that I think look somewhat ridiculous to set,” said Lawrence. “Because it makes it easier to change into wardrobe.”As an example as the “games” that Ford plays, Lawrence recalled, “The next day, Harrison will also have a jumpsuit on.
And then, at the end of the year, the cast and crew gifts from those guys will be jumpsuits. So that’s the type of guy Harrison is every day at work.
