Shock Bob left bloodied as Cathy attacks him in Emmerdale

Cathy and her dad Bob (Tony Audenshaw) are deflated when her headteacher Miss Cathcart suggests that she should defer a year at school because she won’t be granted an access arrangement until she’s had a formal diagnosis, meaning that she won’t get special support from the school to help her continue her education while dealing with her condition.
Deferring the year is something Cathy desperately wants to avoid, so she persuades Miss Cathcart to let her take the exams. Meanwhile the stress of all this is affecting her badly, and she resorts to drinking heavily to try to numb her feelings, drinking vodka until she vomits as Bob, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) and Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) come to find her.
