Series of Monklands roads to undergo work over next month

A series of Monklands roads will shut for work over the next month, with motorists asked to take note of available diverted routes.Kipps Byre Rd and Whinhall Road in Airdrie will close for five days for a carriageway resurfacing scheme from January 26.This will be from the B803 Coatbridge Road to Ballochney Street and both of those roads, as well as the B802 Glenmavis Road, will act as diversions.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
