Fuming Ayr United Scott Brown unleashed on referee Willie Collum as he did not issue Fabio Silva a red card during the clash with Rangers. The Celtic legend was taking plenty of stick from the home crowd as he lead his side out for the Scottish Cup showdown at Ibrox - and temperatures reached boiling point on the touchline with his side trailing 1-0 in Govan.

Silva - who had already been booked in the first-half by Collum - flew into a challenge on George Stanger. A free-kick was awarded - but the man in the middle kept his cards in his pocket. That sent Brown into a rage as he protested with the fourth official and was caught by the Viaplay cameras gesturing and shouting on to the pitch with the Somerset Park boss venting his ire at Collum.

He refused to let up his protests as the game continued - leading Collum to take action.Brown would be shown a yellow card by the whistler for his furious reaction.

He laughed off the booking - and will no doubt have known it was far from his first booking he has picked up against Rangers.
