A Glasgow mum has told of the 'unimaginable pain' her family felt after she lost her second child in three years. Little Romeo Graham was born in January 2019 at just 25 weeks.

He tragically passed away two hours later due to his lungs being underdeveloped and unresponsive.Three years earlier, Romeo's Stephanie and Scott lost their first baby, Rory, who was also born premature - at 27 just weeks.

Rory was born at the Glasgow Jubilee Hospitall in April 2016 before being rushed to the NICU at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He fought a battle for one month before sadly passing away. Now, mum Stephanie has opened up about the grief she felt, reports Glasgow Live. The 29-year-old said: "Rory was our first child and it was a very difficult time for us, I can’t find the words to describe how it felt."I lost the fluid around Romeo at about 18 weeks and we were told his lungs wouldn’t be formed enough and he probably wouldn’t survive.

Despite the best efforts of the doctors and nurses, his tiny lungs just wouldn’t respond and he passed away after just two hours.Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland. No one will be able to see who is signed up and no one can send messages except the Daily Record team. All you have to do is click here if you're on mobile, select 'Join Community' and you're in!If you're on a desktop, simply scan the QR code above with your phone and click 'Join Community'.We also treat our community members to special offers, promotions, and adverts from us and our partners.
