Scottish athlete Josh Kerr beat his arch rival Jakob Ingebrigtsen in the 1500m final at the Paris Olympics....but still missed out on Gold.Kerr moved off the final bend past the Norwegian and looked odds on to win just metres from the line.

But he had taken his eye off American Cole Hocker who overtook him to grab a shock Olympic title. The Scot had been ultra confident of his chances before the race.

So he found it hard to hide his disappointment at the silver as he crossed the line - despite beating his rival into fourth. He set a new British record of 3:27:79, with Yared Nuguse of the US in bronze.
