Scottish football fans put on a huge smoke bomb display which turned the sky orange during a non-league friendly match - leading to the game being dubbed the "craziest" fixture of its kind in the world.Junior football side Irvine Victoria - known as Irvine Vics - faced off against town rivals Irvine Meadow in Ayrshire last night.

And within seconds of kick off, plumes of orange smoke consumed the away terraces. The pyro display took place despite a warning from the club for fans to behave - and not take any smoke bombs.

On Friday afternoon, the committee raised the issue on the club's Facebook account ahead of the derby clash. The post said: "Tonight's fixture will have security present to search on entry.

Do not bring any fireworks, flares, smoke bombs or equivalent to the ground."But the Vics-daft supporters ignored the warning.
