School pays tribute to 'bright and cherished' boy who died at Glasgow trampoline park

Heartbroken teachers have paid tribute to a "bright and cherished" pupil who died in a tragic incident at Flip Out near Glasgow.The 10-year-old, who has not been named, passed away following an incident at the trampoline park on Southcroft Road in Rutherglen, just before 11am on Sunday.

Ambulance crews attended and the young boy was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow where he was sadly pronounced dead.

The youngster was a pupil in the South Lanarkshire Council area and his teachers have now paid tribute in a statement released to the Record.

A spokesperson for the school said: “We are deeply shocked and saddened to share the heartbreaking news of the sudden passing of one of our pupils.
