You may already know, but Kim Cattrall is making a cameo in the second season after not participating in the first season of the Sex and the City reboot. Sarah Jessica actually gave a viral interview where she explained all the drama that went down between her and Kim Cattrall that seemingly led to Kim‘s exit from the franchise. Keep reading to find out more… In a new interview, Sarah Jessica was asked about Kim‘s cameo and SJP revealed the reason why they asked Kim to do the cameo in the first place. “It was an idea that we had that was really about our 25 years, and celebrating that,” Sarah Jessica said, noting the show’s 25th anniversary as the reason. “She had surfaced in the first season, but this simply takes those texts and it puts a face with it.
A gorgeous face, that we love, and that the audience has loved,” SJP continued. “It’s just a quick pop, it’s just a phone call.
