A man was left stunned after he received a bill of more than £1,200 for parking in a city centre NCP car park. Gareth Price left the car park on Greyfriars Road in Cardiff last Thursday (July 13) and saw on his phone that he had been charged £1,201.85, WalesOnline reports.
The IT Consultant travels to Cardiff once a week for work and uses the NCP app's autopay system to pay for parking. This uses cameras to capture registration plates entering and exiting the car park and calculates a charge.
