The Duchess of York has reportedly received a key role as a 'VIP attendee' at the King's Coronation concert next month at Windsor Castle.It comes after Sarah Ferguson, 63, was informed she was not invited to the official crowning of Charles and Camilla at Westminster Abbey on May 6.
However, she will have a special seat on the East Lawn of Windsor Castle the next day to watch the show where she is believed to be joined by her daughters Beatrice, 34 and Eugenie, 33.
A royal insider said that Fergie assumed she would not be invited to the Coronation ceremony but was 'delighted to join the wider family for the Coronation Concert', the Mirror reports.They added: "She cherishes those more relaxed times with the family and, contrary to some reports, is fully accepting of the situation."Take That and Lionel Richie will be performing to mark the historical occasion, with 20,000 lucky ticket holders watching them sing, The Sun reported: “She did, of course, join the family for the Sandringham Christmas celebrations, so it’s clear there is no ill will in either direction.
