Rolf, 92, lives a reclusive life in Berkshire with his wife Alwen Hughes – who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease – following his release from prison in 2017 and his health is believed to have taken worse after his beloved poodle died earlier this year.
The Australian star was a presence on British TV screens for decades but his career in the spotlight ended in disgrace in 2014 as he was found guilty of 12 counts of indecent assault against four teenage girls.
Neighbour Portia Wooderson told The Daily Telegraph newspaper: "Only carers and nurses, who care for him 24 hours, come and go.
