Rod Stewart has been forced to postpone two concerts as he recovers from COVID-19.Last week, the beloved singer-songwriter cancelled what would have been his 200th show in Las Vegas after contracting strep throat.

Now, it has been revealed that Stewart’s illness was a symptom of COVID-19, and has led to two more concert postponements.The two affected dates were August 9 in Stateline, Nevada and August 10 in Lincoln California.

Both dates have been rescheduled, with previously purchased tickets being honoured at the new dates.Stewart’s team wrote of his diagnosis and the shows’ postponement in a statement: “We regret to announce that tonight’s Rod Stewart concert in Stateline, NV and his August 10 show in Lincoln, CA have been postponed as the singer recovers from a summer strain of COVID-19.”See the full statement below.A post shared by Sir Rod Stewart (@sirrodstewart)Though Stewart was forced to cancel his 200th Las Vegas residency show last week, he announced that he would be embarking on a Las Vegas residency in 2025.
