Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming eventually! The long-awaited addition to the Grand Theft Auto franchise has been slated for a fall 2025 release by Rockstar Games, Variety reported Thursday (May 16).

The news was revealed in Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive’s fourth-quarter and full fiscal year 2024 earnings report.

The company also revealed the company posted a $2.9 billion loss for the Jan. 1-March 31 period. The company merely said that GTA VI would arrive “fall 2025” without getting more specific.

CEO Strauss Zelnick said: “I think we’re going to leave it there for now,” in an interview with Variety ahead of the company’s quarterly earnings call. “That [announcement] will come from Rockstar and be consistent with the way they are marketing the title.” The trailer was released in December, and broke records for viewership on the platform.
