A judge has said that it would ‘not be in the public interest’ to pursue the indecent images charges against a reality TV star who was cleared of raping a young woman.
James Moore rose to fame in 2016, after appearing on all eight episodes of the MTV show, Ex on the Beach - a reality show set in Portugal that saw eight men and women attempting to find love with there former lovers showing up.
The reality star from Blackpool appeared in court in 2020 accused of rape, revenge porn and indecent images, as well as offences that were related to drugs. READ MORE: Police 'extremely concerned' for missing woman, 64, who is 'vulnerable and confused' However, Judge Andrews Jeffries KC confirmed that there will no longer be any action against the reality star, after he was cleared of rape following a trial at Preston Crown Court.
Judge Jeffries KC asked the Crown Prosecution Service to consider whether it was in the public interest to continue pursuing a prosecution in respect of possessing indecent images.
