Rangers have issued a statement condemning the 'draconian' UK government proposals to restrict supporters' buses in Scotland.
Westminster published a consultation document last week titled ‘Guidelines for taking passengers to sporting events in Scotland’ seeking permission to impose limits on buses carrying fans to games to north of the border.
The proposals, which would prevent buses from parking within 10 MILES of the ground and severely impact the matchday experience.
And they've since been slammed in a joint statement by the SFA, SPFL and SWPL as well as by fans and senior figures within the game.'Now Rangers have added their voice to the choir as a spokesperson told the Herald: “Rangers is deeply concerned with these draconian proposals from the traffic commissioners for Great Britain which would undoubtedly have a negative effect on a significant number of our supporters attending the matches of any of our teams. “A standard men’s home fixture at Ibrox has around 200 coaches attend, and the management of this under these proposals would be extraordinarily difficult.
