A brawl erupted in a bar after a man won a £90 pay-out on a game machine. The shock win sparked a rammy in Hastings Hotel public house in Hull on February 15 this year.Hull Crown Court heard that Peter Price, 23, had been in the pub with a friend and several others when one of the group scooped the prize on the machine.Prosecutor Bede Porter told how the group began to get rowdy after this and Price's friend got into an altercation with another man.

A barmaid asked Price to get both men out the bar after the confrontation escalated into a fight, Hull Live reports. Price then got involved and pushed the man who was scrapping with his pal.

Punches were thrown before Price launched a bar stool at the man across the pub.Mr Porter told the court: "A pub regular attempted to separate the fight and was partially successful but the verbal argument continued and the fight recommenced, spilling out onto the street."As Price and his friend walked away from the venue, the man they had brawled with ran out of the pub and smashed Price around the head with a pool cue.

Price attempted to go back into the pub but was not allowed in.The police were called and, 10 days later, Price was arrested.
