Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their second child in summer 2023 after announcing their pregnancy back in January.
Buckingham Palace congratulated the couple, who have recently moved into the vacated Frogmore Cottage, in a statement released on 24 January and shared that the pair’s first son, August, is “very much looking forward to being a big brother.” Eugenie, 33, also took to her personal Instagram to share the joyous news. The royal wrote under a sweet pic of son August cuddling her burgeoning belly: “We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer.” Eugenie gave birth to first son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank on 9 February 2021 - just over two years after she married partner Jack, 36, in October 2018.
Although Eugenie’s exact due date is not known, Eugenie's mum Sarah Ferguson hinted that she is due "soon", between April 2023 and the summer.
It’s thought that she must have fallen pregnant sometime in the autumn of 2022.This has led royal watchers to speculate that the Princess must have fallen pregnant shortly before or after Queen Elizabeth II’s death on 8 September 2022.
