King Charles has always been a passionate advocate for protecting the environment. He has been campaigning for climate change for over 50 years and was a true pioneer before it became the global emergency that it is today.
And while the King picked up much of his inspiration from his late father, Prince Philip, he has now passed his interests onto the next generation as both of his sons have spoken about the cause.
Advocating a care for the environment clearly runs in the family as Prince William launched the Earthshot Prize awards in 2020 and has also revealed that his three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, are learning to become more climate conscious.
Several members of the Royal Family have spoken openly about the need to protect the environment, whether it is through Prince William’s Earthshot Prize or King Charles’ 50 years of campaigning for climate change.
