‘Power Book II: Ghost’ Wraps Series Teasing Further Franchise Expansion

After four short seasons, Staz’s Power Book II: Ghost is officially over following tonight’s series finale titled “Ghost in the Machine.” This won’t be a recap of the episode as we will be breaking all that down tomorrow with two of the show’s biggest stars but rather, it’s to discuss Tariq St.
Patrick’s (Michael Rainey Jr.) Marvel moment, if you will, at the end of the episode following the credits. Baby Ghost, as Tariq is often referred to, lives to see another day and with that, there was a tease that more Power is ahead.
That says to me they can continue telling stories through Tariq in a new show set in present day. Add to that the upcoming series finale of Power Book IV: Force, led by franchise OG Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora), who better to team with Tariq than his Uncle Tommy?
So if you ask me, that was Tommy on the phone with Tariq. There was a lot of bad blood between Tariq and his father’s best friend, but all seemed to get hashed out in the final two episodes of Power Book II: Ghost‘s third season with a little help from Tariq’s mother Tasha (Naturi Naughton).
