Over 50 Fixed Penalty Notices have now been handed out across Lanarkshire by police officers to people flouting the coronavirus rules.It comes as Chief Superintendent Alan Waddell, divisional commander, thanked people for staying at home during the Easter weekend.He said: “The overwhelming majority of people are complying with the instruction from government and we are very grateful for their support.“I know that we normally look forward to enjoying the outdoors or gathering with friends and family at this time of year.“However, please continue to play your part by staying at home to save lives and protect the NHS.
