Inspector Iain Farmer said: “This is an example of how extra patrols and our working partnership with the council, bus company Stagecoach and Burns Mall, is operating to stamp out unacceptable anti-social behaviour in Kilmarnock. “We will not tolerate this kind of conduct and will act quickly, as happened with this incident, to apprehend those responsible for behaviour that adversely affects our communities, particularly those who carry weapons.“Anyone with information or concerns should contact us on 101 and I am urging parents, carers and guardians to help us by making sure they are aware of where young people are and what they are doing.”Don't miss the latest Ayrshire headlines –sign up to our free daily newsletter here
