A new plan has been developed to help people in Trafford with supported needs to live as independently as possible. The Supported Housing Strategy has been developed by the council to detail what steps should be over the next five years.
It will support the housing needs of victims of domestic abuse, people with learning disabilities and autism, people with mental health issues and people with physical disabilities.
It will also be used to support care leavers, ex-offenders, and those with complex needs. The strategy aims to provide a range of quality supported housing, and housing-related support, to enable Trafford residents to live as independently as possible.
