Perth Racecourse reveals 34 per cent Gold Cup sales spike, venue investment and prize money boost

The popular Perth Festival will kick off the new season in just four weeks, offering a prize pot of £300,000.Runners and riders from all over the UK and Ireland will be heading to Perth for three days of thrilling races.
The total prize money for the 2024 season is over £950,000 across 13 fixtures, with Perth Racecourse contributing £549,273.This is despite having two fewer race days this year due to changes in BHA Fixture Policy.
Live music will also feature on race days, with Dundee-based band Milhouse Collective and Judge Jules LIVE set to perform.
