Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

'Do not eat' warning issued to customers over popular Waitrose item

Customers have been issued with an urgent 'do not eat' warning over a popular Waitrose item. The supermarket's own brand Essential Waitrose & Partners Salted Dairy Butter is being recalled.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) alert says the product 'may contain pieces of blue cloth' therefore making it unsafe for customers to consume.

The 500g packs with a best before date of June 19 2024 are currently being recalled by the supermarket chain. Anyone who has bought the item is instead told to return it to the branch they purchased it from for a full refund. The possible presence of blue cloth makes the product unsafe to eat. "Waitrose is recalling the above product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product." Waitrose added: "We apologise that it has been necessary to recall this product and for the inconvenience caused."
