Scott co-wrote the song, which was produced by Jon Levine, and doubles as the title track off his forthcoming 7-song EP out on July 28, following his 2022 release, “Mars.” Keep reading to find out more… “A few years back, my fiancé Mark and I laid parallel talking for hours on my kitchen floor and I remember in that moment thinking ‘I am in love.’ It was a beautiful, magical experience and inspired me to write ‘Parallel’ and make it as epic as possible.
We truly share endless qualities and navigate daily life in such a similar way. It feels like we’re always perfectly in sync,” he explained of the track. “I feel like the luckiest man in the world to get to marry him.
Also, I feel like I’m really growing into my most authentic self and starting to fulfill my potential in ways I never thought possible.
During this transformation, I’ve noticed countless coincidences and synchronicities in my daily life, and honestly, it’s been very validating that I’m moving in the right direction.
