Amanda Owen has broken her social media silence to share a "pretty horrible" update from Ravenseat Farm. The mum-of-nine, who shot to fame while starring on Our Yorkshire Farm with her family, took to Instagram to reveal how Storm Ciaran had affected their farm in North Yorkshire.
Despite the awful weather, Amanda and her family have been braving the elements and continuing with their farm work, with Amanda sharing a sweet photo of two of her daughters collecting eggs and helping around the farm.
Posting the snaps to Instagram, Amanda penned the caption: "Been some pretty horrible weather #stormciarán Had to batten down the hatches but rain doesn’t stop work (& play ).Sure as eggs is egg" She followed this a couple of days later with some more photos of her children helping out around the farm and playing with the family dog.
Amanda wrote: "Been raining cats & dogs. A whole week of rain, wind & plenty of mud. #yorkshire #weather #farm #raining." Fans who haven't heard from the family in a while welcomed the new pictures, with one commenting: "So missed the Yorkshire Shepherdess and family." Another wrote: "I really miss your TV show!" As a third said: "Miss all your lovely faces keeping things real on the farm.
