Artur Nafalski became involved in a “titanic struggle” with police at St John’s Hospital in Livingston, West Lothian, following his arrest.

The 34-year-old was finally subdued by the officers and placed in leg restraints inside a secure room to protect health staff.

Nafalski appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday and admitted charges including assault and threatening or abusive behaviour.
