Harry Potter fans young and old can now listen to the audiobook version of the Philosopher's Stone without paying a penny. The audiobook is available for free through Audible for a limited time only during the coronavirus lockdown as part of the ‘Harry Potter at Home’ initiative.

If you have an Amazon Echo device, like a Dot or Show, all you have to do is ask is: “Alexa, read Harry Potter Book One” and you'll be able to hear the first story in the series narrated by Stephen Fry.

In The Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter discovers he is a wizard and heads off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the first time.
