Ofcom have introduced new mobile phone rules which could help you get better signal indoors. Mobile phone users will soon be able to buy a wider range of devices to help improve signal strength.

The new rules relate to the use of indoor mobile repeaters, also known as signal boosters, Liverpool Echo reports. READ MORE: Ten ways to make your mobile phone storage last longer In April 2021, Ofcom brought in a new rule to ensure users could make use of a booster without a previously needed license.

Previously, only two kinds of repeaters had been legalised. One of those is a static mobile phone repeater, which is for indoor use, and is designed to improve coverage inside peoples’ homes, offices and other buildings.
