National Television Award viewers said they were 'shook' as they heard Saah Lancashire's 'real voice' as she was honoured on the star-studded night.
The actress was at the bash as Happy Valley was nominated for three awards after leaving fans gripped earlier this year with the final-ever series.
But unbeknownst to the Oldham-born star, she was also being celebrated on the night with the 'Special Recognition' award. The award recognises individuals or programmes that have made an impact in television or broadcasting for their exceptional contributions to the industry.
It came after the BBC programme, in which she stars as Sergeant Catherine Cawood, took home the title for Best Recurring Drama, beating the likes of Call the Midwife, Vera and Stranger Things.
