An attempted murder probe is underway after a woman fell from a window of an Ayrshire flat.Police raced to Glasgow Street in Ardrossan yesterday at 9.55am after the 49-year-old was found seriously injured at the scene.Medics have since described the woman's condition as stable.Police have confirmed today that a 45-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder and is due to appear before Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today (Friday, July 12).Detective Constable Steven Kerr said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding how the victim came to be injured and it is vital that any members of the public with information which could assist our investigation come forward.“We are looking to speak to anyone who was in the area of Glasgow Street around the time of the incident and may have witnessed what happened.“We are also asking motorists with dashcams who were passing through between 9.30am and 10am on Thursday to please review their footage in case they have captured anything of significance.“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0959 of Thursday, 11 July, 2024.
