Motorcyclist dies after horror two-vehicle crash on Scots road

A 22-year-old motorcyclist has died after a horror crash with a car on a Scots road. The incident happened around 3.40pm on Friday, September 22, on the A92 Aberdeen to Stonehaven road, and involved a grey Nissan Qashqai and a black Honda 900 Fireblade motorcycle.Emergency services raced to the scene but tragically the 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin are aware. The Scottish Ambulance Service checked the driver of the Nissan, a 59-year-old man, but he did not require hospital treatment.

The road was subsequently closed for crash investigation work to be carried out. Sergeant Alexander Bowser-Riley said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.“Anyone who saw what happened or who has dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation is asked to get in touch.
