Mitski confirms new album title and first single release date
thefader.comMitski has announced the title of her next album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We. The news was revealed to subscribers of Mitski's newsletter in a voice note, which was subsequently shared via fans on social media.
In the same note she states that a single from the album will be released on Wednesday, July 26. “Hi, this is Mitski, and I’m at Bomb Shelter Studios in Nashville, where we recorded my new album that’s coming out,” Mitski says in the voice note. “It’s called The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, and its first single is coming out on Wednesday.” Find Mitski’s message below.
