Miranda Rae Mayo joined the cast of the hit NBC series Chicago Fire in season four and she’s been portraying Lieutenant Stella Kidd ever since then.

The actress is currently being sued by her former manager, Sheila Crawford of Spectrum Productions, who claims she is owed money from her work on the show. Miranda landed her Chicago Fire role in 2016 and parted ways with her manager in 2019.

She started working with a “new undisclosed management” in November 2019 and the new team renegotiated her contract with Universal Television for Chicago Fire, according to The Blast. Keep reading to find out more… In the lawsuit, it’s claimed that for seasons 9 and 10, Miranda received a pay bump that increased her wages by $17,000 per episode.

She later renegotiated her salary again and is earning $75,000 per episode for seasons 11, 12, and 13. Chicago Fire tends to have 22 episodes per season, so that means Miranda will earn $1.65 million for each season, before taxes and fees for her team are taken out. Miranda‘s former manager claims she has stopped paying commission and that she’s “entitled to at least $231,900 in unpaid commission and/or residuals from Mayo.” Here are the Chicago Fire stars who are expected to return for season 12, and who isn’t expected to return.
