Minibus and car crash 'chaos' on busy Edinburgh road with 'several people' in hospital

Multiple people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and a minibus in Edinburgh this morning.Emergency services were called to St John’s Road in Corstorphine around 9.30am.Police said several people had minor injuries as a result of the incident.A spokesperson said: “We were called around 9.30am on Saturday, March 30, to a report of a crash involving a car and a minibus on St Johns Road in Edinburgh.“Emergency services attended and several people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.“The road was closed for recovery and partially re-opened around 10.40am.

Road users are thanked for their patience.”A witness to the incident told Edinburgh Live: “It’s chaos at the Drumbrae Roundabout.“People can’t travel along to Corstorphine.

It’s going to impact buses and everything. We were trying to head towards Roseburn coming down the hill but saw a police officer stood next to a car that was blocking off the entrance to St John’s Road.“It had its sirens flashing and all the bus drivers were chatting to each other trying to figure out how to carry out their routes.
