Meghan Markle's rumoured memoir would likely target Kate Middleton according to a royal expert but this would be the Firm's "last straw" in ever potentially amending relationships with the Sussexes. It's been highly speculated that the Duchess of Sussex will follow in her husband Prince Harry's footsteps and release her own tell-all book that would detail her personal experiences as a member of the Royal Family. However, royal expert Phil Dampier believes that if Meghan did go through with it, her memoir would likely target Kate a lot more, the Express reports.Speaking to Marie Claire, the expert said: “Everyone will be fascinated to hear Meghan’s take on her relationship with Kate, whether she was hostile or welcomed her from the start. “She probably thought she should have received equal treatment and didn’t appreciate that she and Harry were seen as secondary to William and Kate.” Dampier added: “Meghan will likely talk about the comparisons made in the press between them and may come across as bitter.”He also said that if the former Suits actress were to slam Kate in her memoir it would significantly reduce the chances of any reconciliation ever happening between the Sussexes and the Wales family. He explained: “It really would be the last straw, and I doubt William and Kate would ever talk to Harry again. “While Meghan may not directly criticize the late Queen she could reveal private conversations, which would be troubling for the royal family.” In addition to rumours of a potential memoir from Meghan, new reports claim that Prince Harry is currently house hunting in the UK as he is looking to return to Britain.
